p. 167/168 Due Wed. p. 169/170 Due Friday (The lesson for the content on this HW page will be given on Wed.) Language Arts Assignment: This week, the students began their next novel study with A Wrinkle in Time. They will get time each day in class to read the book, have discussions, and work on the accompanying pages in the comprehension workbook. I am expecting that they spend about 20-30 minutes each day on this, but this can take the place of their quiet reading time at home that they do each night. Any minutes spent on reading or the workbook at home count as reading log minutes. Here are the due dates below: Chapters 1-4 due Friday, May 17 Chapters 5-8 due Friday, May 24 Chapters 9-end due Friday, May 31 Math HW this week:

Freedom Walkers Chapters 4 & 5 and accompanying worksheets are due Wednesday, April 24. Chapters 6 & 7 and accompanying worksheets are due Friday, April 26. Students will have some time to work on this in class, but will also need to work on this at home. Any work on this at home counts as reading log minutes, including worksheet time. Colonial Fair Tuesday, April 30 (I have mob caps and aprons for all the girls and I have a lot of tricorner hats for boys) Math HW Due Wed. p. 123 & 125 (These sides only) Due Fri. p. 131/132 (both sides on this one) No math HW this week
No school on Friday, 4/19 The remainder of the Colonial Fair project will need to be completed at home. Most kids should have several of their paragraphs typed, but progress varies by kid. Some have been more focused than others... Students may need to do additional research if they find that they do not have enough info. for a detailed paragraph. Students need 5-6 paragraphs. Suggested topics were given, but they are very flexible because all the colonial projects do not fit the same framework. Students were told to make paragraph topics that area appropriate and have enough information available. Math HW:
